Case Management. General information on a matter--open date, responsible staff, client department, division and location, area of law, status, comments and other general information.
Outside Counsel Tracking. Captures outside counsel fees and costs. Establishes budgets, by overall matter, yearly or by task phase. Compares expenses to budget. Tracks the status of invoices sent on to a centralized accounting department.
Department Expense Tracking. Captures internally generated fees and costs, as well as other outside vendor costs. Expenses can be subdivided by ABA task codes.
Case Parties. People and entities related to a matter, such as plaintiff, judge, opposing counsel, associating counsel. System handles linkage of the parties to a profile (rolodex). Search across multiple party names for conflicts. Parties are assigned a unique relationship code, ie, plaintiff, which is a searchable parameter. Descriptive text can be restricted to the matter only, and is searchable for locating particular parties.ull-featured event entry, including team entry, importance levels, appearances, continuances and reschedules.
Case Notes. History, negotiations and more. Lets users attach notes and narratives to matters. Notes can be categorized by subject and author. This means that notes pertaining to, say, documents received, can be filtered and displayed or printed. Unlimited text is allowed for each note transaction. You can track document send/receive history, status.
Document Tracking. Track status of incoming and outgoing documents. Ability to view document images.
Management Reporting. Large number of management reports, displays and graphs as part of the system. Unique front end selection form lets the user filter only that information that needs to be viewed. All types of statistics are available to you, such as cycle times per case, case counts by category and handler, expense reporting, and many others.
Docket/Calendar. Complete set of tools for tracking key events, displaying of calendars.
